Welcome to Beving Quarter Horses. We are a foundation Quarter Horse breeding farm located in north-central Iowa. We specialize in Pretty Buck-Blackburn bloodlines. Our senior sire was Fortys Last Chance, a red dun grandson of Pretty Buck and also a double bred Blackburn. The produce have been excellent colts that have excelled in the arena and in production for other breeders. In August of 2011 we had to put Fortys Last Chance down due to complications of old age. He will be missed but we feel very blessed to have had a stallion as prepotenant as he was. We have kept back two sons to carry on his legacy. We also are using a buckskin grandson of Bueno Chex, Zacharys Lena Chex who is a AQHA reining point earner, and a red roan line bred Roan Wolf stallion, Im Steel Gray to cross on our daughters of Fortys Last Chance and our other foundation bred mares. In 2010 we were able to purchase Mr Poco Blakburn 004 from Linda Martin in Wyoming to continue to perpetuate the Blackburn-Pretty Buck bloodlines. He has been a tremendous asset to our breeding program. His colts have exceeded our expectations and along with all our stallions we will continue with our goal to breed an all around horse for multiple events in the arena and ranch that will have the bone, muscle, conformation, and most important, sound mind to accomplish your equine goals. Fro 2012 we have added a new stallion to our program. He is Poco Cuff Stripe, a 2000 dun stalion who is 31% Poco Bueno, 25% King and 95% foundation bred. He is what we look for in a stallion, good bone, pretty head and neck, deep heart girth with a long sloping shoulder, well muscled with a disposition of gold. We want to thank James Cook for allowing us to purchase this stallion and look forward 2013 colts sired by him.

The foundation bloodlines of our breeding program need no introduction as they are some of the original bloodlines used as a cornerstone to build the American Quarter Horse Association. Our horses are eligible for any of the foundation quarter horse organizations and our offspring are a very high percentage of foundation blood.

Call today for information on our breeding program, or if you are in the area, stop in and we will be glad to show you our horses. Thank you for visiting our web site!

Our 2013 colts are on the ground and look great. We will be adding pictures of the colts as they mature to give you, the prospective buyer, a good idea of what the colts will mature to as adults. We feel you will like what see. Give us a call. Thanks again.
